About Tim Hull
I have proudly called Bella Vista home since 1994. Over the past three decades, I have been deeply invested in the growth, safety, and prosperity of our community. As a candidate for City Council Ward 2, I am committed to using my decades of leadership, business experience, and public service to ensure Bella Vista remains a thriving, family-friendly city for generations to come.
A Lifetime of Service and Leadership Service has always been at the core of who I am. I am a retired U.S. Navy Veteran, having served for 24 years with four combat tours. That commitment to serving others transitioned with me into civilian life. Locally, I serve as Treasurer for the NWA Veterans Council, Vice Commander of American Legion Post 341, and I am a Life Member of VFW Post 9063.
I have also dedicated extensive time to local governance and oversight. I was elected to the Bella Vista Property Owners Association (BVPOA) Board of Directors for two terms, serving six years. During my time with the POA, I contributed to numerous committees, including four years on the Recreation Committee, two years on the Village Pride Committee, two years on the Rules and Regulations Committee, and a year on the Audit Committee. On the municipal level, I have spent eight years serving on the Bella Vista Board of Construction Appeals, and I am a proud graduate of the Bella Vista Citizens Police Academy.
Community Action and Accomplishments I believe in rolling up my sleeves to get things done for Bella Vista. When our community needed better educational infrastructure, I established and successfully ran the campaign to get an elementary school built right here in Bella Vista.
Recognizing the beauty of our natural surroundings, I worked closely with Cooper Communities and the Bentonville School District to acquire the land for Bella Vista's very first hike and bike trails around Blowing Springs Park, laying the groundwork for the incredible trail network we enjoy today.
Local Business Owner and Family Man For 32 years, I have been a local business owner, operating The Village Plumber and Crazy Willy's Ice Cream. I understand firsthand the hard work it takes to balance a budget, manage payroll, and deliver quality service to the people of Northwest Arkansas.
Bella Vista is where my wife, Julie, and our sons, Andrew and Michael, have built our lives. Community tradition is incredibly important to us. For the past 10 years, our family has had the joy of organizing and operating the Bella Vista Fourth of July Parade—bringing neighbors together at the Sugar Creek Center to celebrate our nation's independence.
I am running for City Council because I care deeply about the future of Bella Vista. I would be honored to earn your vote and continue working for the community we all love.
